AMMi truly shone in 2018, thanks to the goodwill of each association member. Here is a brief summary of what was organized for AMMi’s benefit. Thank you all for your involvement.

Organized on December 16, 2018, by Guy’s team of friends and the ‘Ch’tis du sud’!!!!

Donation from the Barr Lion’s Club of 10,000 euros

November 19, 2018, check presentation from the Barr Lion’s Club for 10,000 euros, with the presence of the Lorange family and our patron Guy.

Mega Raffle

Which took place on September 2, 2018.
Thanks to Laurent, Marina, Gwen, and all the volunteers for this day rich in sharing and with a great atmosphere, ‘biker style’.

Concert by the Givme 5 group in Montberont – 31

The 2nd concert organized by Givme 5, and this year, in November 2018, it was a real success, with an important message: “the more different we are, the richer we are”! On stage, there was a song in sign language, dancing, and a song written for AMMi.
We look forward to seeing you next year for an even bigger event at the Toulouse exhibition center; I will keep you informed.

Bordeaux Neighborhood Lottery

Which took place on February 2, 2018, and was organized by Françoise and the neighborhood committee.

The Heart Challenges at Carrefour Market Toulouse St Michel (31)

This initiative is national across all Carrefour stores, taking place from late April to early June. Customers can round up their bill at the checkout or make a donation to the chosen association.
The association can have a stand, as we did, to provide information and sell crêpes to increase the fundraising pot. Thanks to our efforts with Brigitte and Denis, we were able to collect 8,714.49 euros!!! This is an idea for members throughout France.

The 2nd edition of the La Foyenne nature race

This year, the race took place on May 6, 2018, with many walkers and runners participating in the 13km and 5km races. We look forward to seeing you next year for the 3rd edition.

Researchers from Inserm and the NeuroCentre Magendie (Bordeaux) published a fascinating study in August 2025: they successfully stimulated mitochondrial activity
