Its mission is to review financial aid requests submitted by member families receiving support. Its operation is based on the following principles:

  • The Committee reviews each request, taking into account that the A.M.Mi association only intervenes as a last resort, meaning only after all state aid or other schemes have been applied for.
  • Applications are presented anonymously to ensure the impartiality of the decision.
  • Once the request has been reviewed, the Committee makes a decision and submits it to the Board of Directors for validation (always anonymously)
  • A written response (by email or mail) is sent to the family, whether the aid is granted or not.
  • Any loan granted must be repaid. A repayment schedule is established between the family and the association. This schedule can be reviewed in case of a change in circumstances, upon a reasoned request. Any member who leaves the association with an outstanding loan must repay it in full.

Our commitment: to provide compassionate and rigorous support

The A.M.Mi Association is committed to supporting families, breaking isolation, improving daily life, and supporting research for a treatment.
